Play The Game - Queen - The Game (CD, Album)

  • Basho says:
Dec 06,  · Queen ‎– Play The Game. Originally released May 30, and taken from the "The Game" album. This grouping assembles all single releases where "Play The Game" receives A-side/top billing (non-album track "A Human Body" is the regular B-side)/5().
  • Mezshura says:
‘Play The Game’ is a Freddie song featuring Queen’s first use of a synthesizer, and one that he plays, an Obereim OB-X. Sung in Mercury’s most unforced, natural voice, best suited to the.

By using iTunes I was able to give this album a rightful rating. Being a huge Queen fan, pro 70's, 80's, and 90's work, this is probably my least favorite album. Though there are a few classic tracks here. 1. Play the Game (4/5) --It's an okay song, has a nice sound/5().
  • Kazrazshura says:
The B-side to the single for "Play The Game" was "A Human Body," one of Queen's rarest compositions for many years - only being available on the original vinyl releases until it was finally included on the Singles Collection Volume 2 and on the bonus disc to the CD re-issue of The Game.
  • Moogugul says:
Despite the presence of two excellent Queen experiments in funk rock in the superb, innovative hit single “Another One Bites The Dust” and “Dragon Attack”, and two mid 70s throwback big Queen rock ballads in “Play The Game” and “Save Me”, this album really is a low point in Queen’s mortlinadlitasafathicquibitchairo.coinfoed at the height of punk/new wave, apart from catching on to the disco/funk thing and diversifying a little, Queen /5().
  • Shaktikinos says:
Certainly, The Game is less obnoxious than Queen's last few outings, simply because it's harder to get annoyed with a group that's plugging away at bad rockabilly than with one blasting out crypto-Nazi marching tunes. The future doesn't look bright, however. No matter how much Queen may try to hide it, they're still egomaniacs.
  • Tashicage says:
Queen had long been one of the biggest bands in the world by 's The Game, but this album was the first time they made a glossy, unabashed pop album, one that was designed to sound exactly like its mortlinadlitasafathicquibitchairo.coinfo might be posed in leather jackets on the cover, but they hardly sound tough or menacing -- they rarely rock, at least not in the gonzo fashion that's long been their trademark.9/
